Carnival Queen Card

Hi everyone!!  Hope everyone is having a great week!!  I have a card to share with you feauturing the new Carnival Queen range from Ruby Rock-It.  If you haven't seen these lovely ranges yet, Ruby Rock-It has released two new uber cute ranges of paper and embellishments called Carnival King and Carnival Queen.  Carnival King is bright and bold and perfect for anything really.  Carnival Queen is just as exciting, but in a softer pastel color palette that works perfect for that little princess in your life!

I love all things girlie and pink and figured that although the Carnival Queen range is so fun for all of your carnival/circus/party needs, it's also perfect for spring, birthday or anything girly!

Here is a close-up of the sweet little flower I made using Ruby Rock-It Bella! papers.

Love Embroidery featuring Punky Sprouts and Carta Bella

Hi everyone!  I have an embroidery piece to share with you today featuring Punky Sprouts and Carta Bella papers and stickers.  I was able to play with the Beautiful Moments line and the colors were so beautiful, I knew it would be perfect for this project.  I love embroidery and have been stitching for over 20 years now.  So when I look at the awesome mini albums from Punky Sprouts and their beautiful canvas pages, I figured, why not embroider on the canvas page?

I used a sheet of Punky Playground corrugated chipboard and cut a frame from it.

Here is a close-up of the embroidery.  This is not my original pattern- it's from an embroidery magazine from Australia and from several years ago- I wish I knew the name so that I can give credit- sorry!

Here is a close-up of the frame and embroidery. I love polka dots and this paper is just too sweet!

I used the Carta Bella Beautiful Moments sticker sheets for the banner and the borders.  And some Maya Road chipboard pieces covered in glitter to complete my frame.

Supplies used: Punky Sprouts (get it HERE):
Rebel Sprout mini album
Playground
Lil' Blossoms Lacey
Carta Bella Beautiful Moments collection ( see it here)

Audrey Flower Tote

Hi everyone.  I'm here to share with you one of My Little Shoebox's new handbags.  It is the Audrey Tote in the Flower pattern.
IMG_1451
I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by this tote.  It is a coated canvas, so clean up is easy (which is nice because I usually have a Starbuck's Iced Tea in my hand and since I usually have my hands full, I do have the occasional spill- yikes!).  Just the swipe of a baby wipe or a paper towel and it's good to go.

I have mine filled here ready to go cropping.  It can fit a ton of 12x12 papers, my trimmer (which none of my other bags are quite tall enough to accomodate), and oodles of embellies.  It is sturdy and durable- nice!
I've also used it to tote along some knitting, my Kindle and a book as I wait for kids to get out of school, doctor's and dentist appointments and all of those other errands that leave me waiting around.
Overall, this is a really great bag that is ultra useful.  Plus I like the little side pocket to slip my cell phone into so that I can actually find my phone when I get a call instead of digging in the bottom of my bag!
You can get one here.
Enjoy!!

A little Birthday fun featuring Ruby Rock-It Bella! Fundamentals! Decoupage Packs

Hi everyone!  Happy March!  Can you believe that it's March already?!

I have a gift bag and card ensemble that I created featuring the ultra fun Decoupage packs from Ruby Rock-It Bella! Fundamentals.

What I really love about the Decoupage Pack is how easy they are to use.  It reminds me of paint by number, but a whole lot easier and way less messy.  All you need is some foam square adhesive and you are good to go.  Plus, there is so much detail, even down to the glittering, that you look like a superstar when all of the work has been done for you

Here is a close-up of the card.  So pretty!!
